Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire
Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.
Day: 2 | Lake Manyara National Park
Today we will go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water, and hot springs. We do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and if you like to walk you can also book a 2-hour walking safari with an armed ranger. On foot, you can enjoy giraffes, buffalos, and other animals from a good distance.
Day: 3 | Serengeti National Park
On day three we will head towards the Serengeti. After a few hour’s drive, we will arrive at the Serengeti gate. After lunch, we do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers.
Day: 4 | Serengeti National park
The next day we will start the day with a game drive in the Ikona Wildlife Management Area. This area supports a variety of wildlife across 242 square kilometers of pristine wilderness including herds of elephant, waterbuck, Black and White colobus monkeys, shy leopard, and both the Greater and the Lesser Kudu. In the afternoon we will explore the area on foot with a ranger (walking safari) which will end with a sundowner
Day: 5 | Ngorongoro Crater
On the fifth day we spend one more day in Serengeti and late afternoon we head to the Ngorongoro conservation area.
Day: 6 | Transfer Arusha, Departure
Today we wake up early in the morning and after breakfast, we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyena, zebra, and elephants to name a few. In the afternoon we drive back to Arusha to arrive by late afternoon where the safari ends with Hotel or Airport drop-off.
